An official transcript is a complete representation of a student's academic record.

Most private and out of state schools will request an initial transcript which will reflect a student's grades 9th - 11th grade and a midyear transcript which will reflect students' first semester grades their senior year. Transcripts can be sent either electronically or paper copies through the regular mail.

It should list all the modules or subjects you studied in each year, the marks or grades you achieved for each module and the credit value and level of each module. It should be stamped or signed by the registry of your previous institution and be on official letter-headed paper.

In United States education, a transcript is a copy of a student's permanent academic record, which usually means all courses taken, all grades received, all honors received and degrees conferred to a student from the first day of school to the current school year.

All Institutions generally follow a standard format for the transcript: Name of the Issuing Academic Institution. Accreditation of the Academic Institution. Name of the Student. Roll Number/Identity of the Student. Name of the Degree obtained. List of Courses undertaken. Marks/grade obtained in all the courses.

Official transcripts are issued in portrait format and contain the seal of the university and the signature of the University Registrar. Unofficial transcripts are available to current students via self-service from the Student Information System. (See Viewing Unofficial Transcript.)

Your high school transcript is a complete record of your academic achievements in high school. It starts with the first grading period of your first year of high school and is updated each term until you graduate.

A current official transcript is an official transcript requested before you graduate. A final official transcript is requested after you graduate or exit Sentinel high school. ALL SENIORS GOING TO COLLEGE MUST REQUEST A FINAL OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT TO BE GIVEN TO THE COLLEGE THEY WILL BE ATTENDING.

The difference between transcript and degree is that a degree certifies completion of an academic program while a transcript of degree is a proof of education that provides complete information regarding the degree including subjects studied, exams taken, grades, institution, etc.
