Scaling adjusts the display so that the resolution you choose fits to the native resolution of the screen. When you select a lower resolution than the native resolution, such as selecting 1600 x 900 on a native 1920 x 1080 screen, everything appears larger. This means menus, icons, text, and images all look bigger.

Change display settings Open your phone's Settings app. Tap Display. Tap the setting that you want to change. To see more settings, tap Advanced.

Resize an item to an exact height and width Select the picture, shape, WordArt, or other object to resize.Select Shape Format, Picture Tools Format, or Drawing Tools Format and enter the new measurements into Height and Width.

To resize a shape, text box, or WordArt, under Drawing Tools, on the Format tab, in the Size group, enter the measurements that you want into the Height and Width boxes. Note: If you do not see the Drawing Tools and Format tabs, make sure that you selected a picture, shape, text box, or WordArt.

Create curved or circular WordArt Go to Insert > WordArt. Pick the WordArt style you want. Type your text. Select the WordArt. Go to Shape Format > Text Effects > Transform and pick the effect you want.

Fit text automatically Click anywhere in the text. On the Format menu, point to AutoFit Text, and do one of the following: To reduce the point size of text until there is no text in overflow, click Shrink Text On Overflow. To shrink or expand text to fit in the text box when you resize the box, click Best Fit.

There are several ways to resize a text box. You can click and drag on one of the handles to resize, or you can select the text box and specify the exact height and width dimensions using the controls on the Format tab or in the Layout dialog box.

Fit text in a shape Right-click the shape that contains the text that does not fit. On the shortcut menu, click Format AutoShape. In the Format AutoShape dialog, click the Text Box tab. Under Text autofitting, select the option you want.

To make your font size smaller or larger: On your device, open the Settings app. Search and select Font size. To change your preferred font size, move the slider left or right.

Press Ctrl+A to select all the text in your document. Click Home > Shrink Font one or more times. As you click Shrink Font, Word decreases the size of every font in your document. Click View > Reading View to see if you shrank the text enough.
