If approved, the $350 million T-Mobile settlement will be the second-largest data breach payout in US history. Current and past T-Mobile customers may be owed a portion of a $350 million settlement stemming from a 2021 cyberattack that exposed more than 100 million users' personal information.

Now anyone who was affected by the breach can file a claim to be reimbursed up to $25,000, up to 15 hours at a rate of at least $25 an hour, and out-of-pocket costs related to the breach, as long as the customer files before the deadline of Sept. 30. Any losses that can be filed on the claim include: Fraud charges.
