Form Initials Document For Free

The initials should be in ink and written by your hand. They can be in either print or cursive but should be unique to you. If adding your initials to a small change in a contract, be sure to add them in the margin next to the updated information.

As far as I know an initial is just the first letter of a name,written in capital letter : L in Laura, V in Victor. I suppose that I should write my complete first name (for sure they wont be guessing among lots of applications).

Click the ?Insert? tab if it is not already showing. Click the ?Text Box? button and choose ?Simple Text Box? from the fly-down menu. Word inserts a text box onto the page. Click inside the placeholder text and type your initials.

If someone asks you to initial a form, they're asking you to sign by writing your initials on it. If your name is Inna Instant, you would write I.I., and you'd probably write it really quick!

On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click Quick Parts, and then click Save Selection to Quick Part Gallery. In the Create New Building Block dialog box, type a name for your signature block. In the Gallery list, click AutoText. Click OK.
