Indenture Remove Number Fields For Free

Use Ctrl + A to select all text in a document and then click the Clear All Formatting button to remove the formatting from the text (aka character level formatting.)

Delete a field from a table. In the Navigation Pane, right-click the table, and then click Design View. In the table design grid, select the field that you want to delete, and then press DEL.

Press Alt+F9. This makes all the field codes in your document visible, instead of the results of those fields. Press Ctrl+H. In the Find What box, enter ^d as what you are searching for (make sure you use a lowercase d). Make sure the Replace With box is empty. Click on Replace All.

On the developer menu, select Design Mode. If no content controls are visible, scroll through until one is. Press Ctrl+A to select the entire document. Right-click a visible content control. In the context menu, click Remove Content Control.

Click the profile icon and go to the System Settings page. Select Objects and Fields. Select the object you'll be deleting fields from (Contacts, Organizations, Opportunities, or Projects). Select Object Fields from the Object Management menu. Click the three dot menu next to the field you'd like to delete.

Press Alt+F9 to turn off field codes currently on the page. To turn off a field code for a specific field, click on the field and press Shift+F9 instead. Click the Office button and select "Word Options" to turn off field codes by default.

Return to Design View for the table with the ID key and click the ID field. Go to Design tab, then Tools Group. Click the Delete Rows button, then click Yes in the confirmation window and the field will be deleted.
