Index Break Warranty For Free

Index warrants all of its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service.

You must notify Valve of your warranty claim via the Support Pages during the Warranty Period and prior to shipping or transporting the Hardware to Valve, provide (upon request) a dated sales receipt for the Hardware, and satisfy all other terms and restrictions set forth in this Warranty.

2 years minimum! Basically 1 year warranty if the problem is valves fault. unless you live in the UK then its 6 years! 2 years minimum!

If you are seeking repairs or replacement under Valve's Limited Warranty (the ?Warranty?), you must notify Valve of your warranty claim via the Help Site and satisfy all other applicable terms and restrictions set forth in the Warranty terms.

Unless otherwise documented, INDEX products are warranted for a period of two (2) years from the date of installation. If the date of installation or resale cannot be documented, the date of installation will be assumed to be ninety days after the manufacturing date coded on the product.

In most cases, if a product is replaced under warranty, then the replacement product will have the rest of the remaining warranty from the original item. You don't get an entirely new warranty every time you get the item replaced, unless the warranty specifically says that you do.
