Add more users and licenses Log in to the Microsoft 365 admin center with your admin credentials. On the Users tab, select Add user. Fill in the user information for the person you want to add. Add up to 5 email addresses to send the new sign-in information to. Select Buy license and add user.

Assign Office 365 licenses and roles to a user or group Click the Assign button and select Assign to People or Assign to Groups. The Assign Microsoft Office 365 window opens. Select a user or a group, then check the appropriate boxes to assign licenses and roles to the selected user or group. Click Save and Go Back.

Go Office 365 Admin Center > Active Users > choose unlicensed > select the specific shared mailbox to give it a license.

Assign a license To assign a purchased license, navigate to Users > check the box for the user you want to assign the license to (you can assign licenses to individual users or select multiple users) > click Assign licenses for selected > check the box next to the license that you want to assign > Save changes.

In the admin center, go to the Users > Active users page. Select the row of the user that you want to assign a license to. In the right pane, select Licenses and Apps. Expand the Licenses section, select the boxes for the licenses that you want to assign, then select Save changes.

Assign a license to a user Log in to your Office 365 Control Panel. From the left menu, select Users. Find the user you want to assign the license to and select Manage. Select the license you'd like to apply to the user.

In the admin center, go to the Billing > Your products page. On the Products tab, select the subscription to which you want to add licenses. On the subscription details page, in the Licenses section, select Add more licenses. In the Add more licenses pane, select Use a new and unused product key, then select Next.
