Teams subscriptions include Teams Phone and enable calls from one Teams app to another. Making and receiving calls to and from landlines and mobile phones on the PSTN in Teams is available with an add-on such as Teams Phone Standard or Teams Phone with Calling Plan or is included in Microsoft 365 E5.

If you'd like to include a dial-in number and conference ID for your Teams meeting, do one of the following: Schedule the Teams meeting from Outlook. Those meeting details are automatically included. Schedule the meeting from Teams, but make sure PSTN conferencing is turned on for your account.

Follow these steps to retrieve the serial number required to your software: Visit Redeem your purchase. Sign in or create an Adobe ID. Enter the redemption code, and then click Redeem. Make a note of the displayed serial number. Enter the serial number when prompted during installation.

Use the Microsoft 365 admin center to assign licenses to individual users or small sets of users at a time. You assign licenses on the Licenses page (for up to 20 users at a time) or the Active users page (for up to 40 users at a time).

Microsoft Teams requires an audio conferencing license to add dial-in numbers to a meeting. Only the meeting organizer needs the audio conferencing license to add dial-in numbers to a meeting.

Meeting attendees who dial in don't need any licenses assigned to them or other setup. After attendees have joined meeting, they can also dial out and invite other callers into a Teams meeting. See Dialing out from a Teams meeting so other people can join it for more information.

Starting March 1st, 2022, Microsoft will no longer charge customers for the dial-in option for Teams meetings. Attending Teams meetings (online, digital meeting platform from Microsoft, for those who don't know) requires access (over the internet) to the Microsoft servers which host Teams meetings.
