In PivotTables, you can use summary functions in value fields to combine values from the underlying source data. If summary functions and custom calculations do not provide the results that you want, you can create your own formulas in calculated fields and calculated items.

Blend data using groups created in the secondary data source: Only calculated groups can be used in data blending if the group was created in the secondary data source. Use a group in another workbook. You can easily replicate a group in another workbook by copy and pasting a calculation.
