You can receive a refund for mail that is lost or never delivered to its final destination as long as the package is insured. Collect on Delivery (COD) items, registered mail with insurance, Priority Mail Express, and other insured mail services are eligible for refunds via the USPS claim service.

Package Pickup is a free (regardless of the number of items scheduled for pickup), next delivery day (or designated delivery day) service. Approved refunds that were requested at the Post Office will be refunded in cash, check, or money order. Approved Click-N-Ship refunds are credited to the original payment account. Business customers who applied for a refund online will be refunded by check, not credited back to their account.
