You can take notes offline using Google Keep. First, if you've already taken notes, you'll need to save them so you can read and edit offline: Make sure your Chromebook is connected to the Internet.

Find version history for notes On your computer, go to keep.google.com. Hover over or click on a note. In the bottom of the note, click More. Version history. Choose a version and click Download. Go to your downloads and open the text file.

This feature is coming to both the web version as well as the mobile app. This new feature is called Text Formatting, and it comes with multiple tools to improve the layout of any text, as per a report by 9to5Google. This feature was teased for over a year and finally, it is here.

Google Keep allows users to make different kinds of notes, including: texts, lists, images and audio. Users can set reminders, which are integrated with Google Now, with options for time or location. Text from images can be extracted using optical character recognition technology.

If your device has SD card and your android OS is lower than 5.0, your notes will be backed up to the SD card. If your device doesn't have SD card or if your android OS is 5.0 (or higher version), your notes will be backed up to the internal storage of your device.

Turn Android sync settings on On your Android phone or tablet, tap Settings . Select the Google Account the note has been shared with. On the "Sync" screen, find and turn on Keep.

Support ended for the Google Keep Chrome app in early 2021. We have moved Chrome apps to the web. Offline access to notes is available on Keep mobile apps, but not on your computer.
