Choose an online legal services provider or locate a will template. Carefully consider your distribution wishes. Identify a personal representative/executor. Understand the requirements to make your will legal. Make sure someone else knows about your will. Consult a lawyer if you have a more complicated estate.

Click on Page Layout tab. In the ribbon, click on Watermark. A vertical scroll list of six watermarks will appear with a set of menu options below. From the menu options, select Custom Watermark.

On the Design tab, select Watermark. In the Insert Watermark dialog, select Text and either type your own watermark text or select one, like DRAFT, from the list. Then, customize the watermark by setting the font, layout, size, colors, and orientation. Select OK.

Open Word. Click on the 'Design' tab. Click on 'Watermark' at the far-right. Depending on the version of the word, you will see a few templates that you can choose from. Click on one. The watermark should appear on the page.
