View, copy, and restore an earlier version With the spreadsheet manager in browse view, tap Select at the top of the screen, then tap the spreadsheet (a checkmark appears). Tap Versions at the top of the screen. Tap a previous version to select it. Tap Preview.

Do one of the following: Autofill one or more cells with content from adjacent cells: Select the cells with the content you want to copy, then move the pointer over a border of the selection until a yellow autofill handle (a dot) appears. Drag the handle over the cells where you want to add the content.

To download or print a copy, click the More button at the top of the preview window, then choose an option. Click Restore at the bottom of the Version History list. Tip: You can also click Restore in the top-right corner of a spreadsheet you're previewing. The current version is replaced with the selected version.

With the current version of your spreadsheet open, choose File > Revert To > Browse All Versions (from the File menu at the top of your screen). The timeline for the spreadsheet opens. The current version appears in the window on the left. Earlier versions appear in the window on the right.
