To remove any option user have to select it and by using the remove() function and getting the element by 'getElementById' and 'selectedIndex' methods the user can remove it.

We can add options to select with JavaScript using three simple methods: ?document. createElement()? method. ?JQuery? Library. ?Option()? Constructor.

To change the selected option in an HTML <select> element you have to change the value property on the <select> element or the selected property on the <option> element you want to select.
