Letter Delete Text For Free

Typing in Overtype mode can cause the letters in your Word documents to disappear. In this mode, anything you type replaces text instead of inserting new text. Word offers the option of disabling Overtype mode through its Options dialog box. Click the "File" menu, then click "Options" to open that dialog.

This is caused by something called overtype. Use these steps ot stop deleting letters when you type in Word. Open your document in Microsoft Word. Press the Ins or Insert key on your keyboard. Type as normal to confirm that overtype is turned off.

In Word, choose File > Options. In the Word Options dialog box, choose Advanced. Under Editing options, do one of the following: To use Insert key to control Overtype mode, select the Use Insert key to control overtype check box. To keep Overtype mode enabled always, select the Use overtype mode check box.

One way to delete text in Word is to use the Backspace and Delete keys on your keyboard while typing. On most PCs, using the Backspace key deletes text to the left of the insertion marker. Pressing the Delete key deletes text to the right of the insertion marker.

Select the cells you will remove texts before or after a specific character, press Ctrl + H keys to open the Find and Replace dialog. Keep the Replace with text box empty, and then click the Replace All button.
