Limit Numbers Settlement For Free

Each settlement has a default max population of 10 settlers plus each point of Charisma the character has, which has a base max of 22 (10 from leveling and +1 from bobblehead and You're SPECIAL! magazine respectively ) before factoring in extra charisma from armor and consumables.

To have settlers come to your settlement, you will need to make sure you have enough food, water, beds, and defenses. You also need to make sure that you have the Recruitment Radio Beacon set up in each settlement. In addition, the number of settlers maxes out based on your Charisma.

There is no way in the game (meaning without modding) to increase the size of a settlement. If you have any other settlement questions I am wrote a guide about everything I have learned so far.

In order for your settlement to grow you need to make sure that existing settlers have everything they need. In a building menu, there are stats on the top of the screen. You don't need to maintain all of them but there are a few key ones: Beds, Food, Water, Defense.

Power: Add all of the power consumption things you need running, that's the required power. As noted, you'll probably have a max of 11 to 20 settlers, depending on your build.

Settlement population is limited by the player character's Charisma. The Default Cap is 10, +1 for each point in charisma, meaning one can have a population cap of 20 (10+10). This can be further increased by wearing charisma boosting clothing and consumables.

Increase Settlement Size via Console Commands PC open console with the ~ key, click on the workbench, type:. getav 348 ? Gets the current number of triangles used by player. setav 349 # ? Set the maximum triangle budget for the settlement.. setav 34B # ? Set the maximum draw budget for the settlement.
