At the end of French Language Arts 30-1, your teen will write a provincial diploma examination. Your teen's final mark in French Language Arts 30-1 is determined by taking 70% of the school-awarded mark and adding it to 30% of the diploma examination mark.

The Chemistry 30 Diploma Examination consists of 44 multiple- choice questions worth 55%, 12 numerical-response questions worth 15%, and 2 written-response questions worth 30% of the total examination mark.

Part of Alberta Education's Grade 12 diploma exams, the Chemistry 30 exam is intended to measure students' chemistry knowledge at the 12th grade level and that they've met province-wide achievement standards. The Chemistry 30 exam has 44 multiple-choice questions, as well as 16 numerical-response questions.

The English Language Arts 30?2 Diploma Examination has two parts, each worth 50% of your total examination mark. Part A: Written Response allows you to demonstrate reading, thinking, and writing skills in response to three distinct writing tasks.

Chemistry 30 is a 5 credit course. Some of the topics studied in this course are ? laws of conservation of energy, thermodynamics, oxidation-reduction reactions, organic chemistry, acids and bases, and dynamic equilibrium.

In my opinion, it's the easier of the 30-level science classes, although it doesn't make it a walk in the park by any stretch. There's a Diploma Examination at the end of it, and there's 4 units. Since each unit is completely independant form all the others, the order they are taught can change from school to school.

School staff will register students enrolled in diploma exams courses for the first time. Students who retake courses will not automatically be registered. These students must register online using myPass. Students must contact a writing centre to request permission to write at that centre before self-registering.
