When a list item has a comment, an icon appears next to the item. Select the icon to view comments about the list item. Note: If you don't see comments, check with your admin, who may have disabled commenting.

Comments are stored in the schema for each list, which is based on the SharePoint storage platform.

Go to your SharePoint list >> Click on the settings gear icon >> Select List settings. On the List Settings page, click on the ?Advanced? link. Under the ?Comments? section, set the ?Allow comments on list items?? to Yes or ?No? ing to your requirement.
