Select the Recycle Bin that you want to access (1). Select the items you want to restore or permanently delete, and click Restore (2) or Delete (3). To permanently delete all items in the org recycle bin, click Empty Org Recycle Bin (4).

When you delete a field from a query, the field remains in the database, but is no longer used in the query. When you delete a field from a table, the field is deleted from the entire database.

When you delete a custom field, all of the field history data is deleted and changes are no longer tracked. A background process periodically runs that cleans up metadata associated with deleted custom fields.

First, here's a quick recap on how we delete fields in Salesforce. Simply navigate to the object: go to Setup, followed by Object Manager, and [Object Name]. Then go to Fields & Relationships and find your field. Click the drop down to the right, followed by Delete.

To view details about a field, click the field label. To permanently remove the custom field and its data, click Erase. To restore the field and its data, click Undelete. Note If you undelete a custom field, manually restore attributes of the deleted field that were not automatically restored.

If the Data Source task pane is not visible, click Data Source on the View menu. If your form template uses more than one data source, select Main in the Data source list. Right-click the field or group that you want to delete, and then click Delete on the shortcut menu.

Select the Section control >> Click on Manage Rules button from the ribbon >> Click on New, Provide a Name to it. In Condition, Set: ID is Blank. Under Rule type, Select Formatting, and the tick the Hide this control check box. Save and publish your InfoPath form.

Return to Design View for the table with the ID key and click the ID field. Go to Design tab, then Tools Group. Click the Delete Rows button, then click Yes in the confirmation window and the field will be deleted.
