First-year students who are commuting to campus may be able to purchase an on-campus parking permit from CampusParc. The C permit, at $450.96 per year, provides access to Central Campus parking. The CE permit, at $783.96 per year, provides off-peak garage access and the same surface lot access as the C.

Faculty and staff may purchase a parking permit online. This is the only way to purchase a parking permit at this time. After payment is made, the permit may be picked up in the Public Safety Office. Permits are good from the first day of autumn semester through the day before autumn semester of the following year.

Vehicles are for official University business only. Only Ohio State faculty, staff, and students registered with the Ohio State Office of Transportation are permitted to drive University vehicles and must be over the age of 18. Registration must occur prior to driving vehicles.
