Official transcript should be submitted by your counselor. If the counselor submits online, the transcript should be attached to your school forms. Otherwise, transcripts should be sent directly to the schools to which you are applying. Please contact each admissions office for the exact address or procedure.

Students transferring from a community college with a transfer-oriented associate degree and a cumulative GPA above 3.5 in the last year are generally competitive applicants. If you have not completed the associate's degree, admission to W&M is not guaranteed.

If your former institution is going to mail your transcript, you must tell them to include "School of Education" in our address, or the transcripts will not be delivered to our office. Our address is: William & Mary, The School of Education, PO Box 8795, Williamsburg, VA, 23187.

A complete application to William & Mary includes each of the following required materials: A submitted application through The Common Application. The Secondary School Report form complete with a high school transcript and counselor letter of recommendation.

Repeated course indicator (R column). Included in GPA and Attempted Hours but deducted from Passed and Earned hours. E. Repeated course indicator (R column). Excluded from GPA and included in Attempted Hours only.

Via mail: Transcripts must be sent sealed. If you are sending a copy, do not open it before forwarding to Coastline. If the option is available, please request your final official transcripts be sent electronically to lps-admissions@sas.upenn.edu. Electronic submission of transcripts improves tracking and reduces processing time.
