Generally, no. The law schools will credit the high (or only) score in both situations, and they will not hold a cancellation against you. So, if you retake and you jump 3 points (or lose 3 points), the law schools will consider only your highest score.

You must be facing the camera, with only your head and shoulders in the picture. Your facial features must be clearly visible with no shadows or obstructions. The background in the photo should be plain and should not obscure your identity.

Relax, LSAC doesn't include a copy of the photo in your CAS report schools get to see. They just hang onto it in a warehouse somewhere for a few years in case a reason comes up to suspect an imposter took the test for you and they want to double check things. Just make sure the pic conforms to LSAC rules.
