Beginning with the August 2023 LSAT, most test takers will have the option of whether to take the test at home in an online, live, remotely proctored format or in-person at a digital testing center.

The LSAT is currently offered eight times each year, approximately every 6-8 weeks. All test administrations are online - students have a two-day window in which to take the test (you do not have two days to complete it - once you start the LSAT there is a time limit in which to finish).

You'll look at my LSAT PrepTest Raw Score Conversion Charts and calculations of what it takes to get an LSAT score of 160 or 170. Using that data, you'll find that the December exam consistently has the easiest "curve," and the June exam consistently has the hardest.

The LSAT is composed of four 35-minute test sections. There is a 10-minute intermission between the second and third sections. The test takes approximately 3 hours for standard test takers.

Once you get your score back, you can start sending it out to schools. To do this, all you need to do is choose which law schools to send your score to through the Law School Admissions Council's website. There is no limit, really.
