An LSAT (or LSAT-Flex) result is reportable for up to five testing years after the testing year in which the score is earned. LSAT testing years run from June through May. For information about how many times a test taker may sit for the LSAT, please see Limits on Repeating the LSAT.

If you make a late decision not to take the LSAT, you do need to withdraw your registration. If you fail to withdraw by the deadline, then you will be marked absent, and this absence will show up on your record. If you properly withdraw in time, then the exam does not show up on your record at all.

Can I change my test date? Yes, if your administration's test date change deadline has not yet passed, you may change your test date through your LSAC.org account. Note that you must pay an administrative fee when requesting a test date change.

Law schools do not average the scores for admission, but we always look at performance if you've taken the test more than once. Ideally, it would be best if every applicant could secure their ideal LSAT score on the first attempt, but that is often not the case. Law schools will report the highest LSAT score.

What you need is an almost perfect LSAT score. Harvard is exceptionally competitive. To be in the 75th percentile, you need to score at least 175. Scoring 170 puts you in the 25th percentile of Harvard applicants.
