With the 2023-2024 LSAT year set to begin in June, LSAC let us know about some minor changes to the exam. There's a lot to cover, so we're just going to rifle through the updates, bullet-point-style: Most importantly ? and despite what you may have heard ? the LSAT's format is not changing in the 2023-24 test cycle.

Beginning with the August 2023 LSAT, most test takers will have the option of whether to take the test at home in an online, live, remotely proctored format or in-person at a digital testing center. Every administration of the LSAT features one scored Logic Games section. There are always four games with a total of 22?24 questions.

Did they remove logic games from the LSAT? No. And they're not "removing logic games." They will look differently in the future because they got sued by a person who had sight impairment so they need to come up with a way to do logic games that do not have a disadvantage for someone who cannot see well.

Whether you take the LSAT at home or at a testing center, you'll be given the same version of the exam LSAC has used since 2021. There will be four sections: one Logical Reasoning, one Reading Comp, one Logic Games, and one unscored ?experimental? section.

And, if Logic Games meets its demise, what will replace it? The short answer to that question is that the Logic Games section isn't going anywhere until at least June 2023 ? the last scheduled LSAT on LSAC's docket.
