However, if the applicant wants to enroll in a J.D. program that ranks among the top 25 in the 2019 U.S. News Best Law Schools rankings, the target should be a score of 160 or better, and if an applicant hopes to get into a top-10 program, he or she should aim for an LSAT score of 170 or more, experts suggest.

Given the continuing uncertainty and disruption of the COVID-19 emergency in many regions, we have decided that all of the LSAT administrations currently scheduled for January, February, and April 2021 will be delivered via the online, remotely proctored LSAT-Flex, instead of in-person.

LSAT Scores: What You Need to Know in 2020 From your raw scores, the LSAT is graded on a scale from 120-180. The average LSAT score is about 150. To get into a top 14 law school, you need to score above 162, and to get into a top 50 law school, you need 154 or above.

The basic fee for the LSAT during the 2020-21 academic year is $200, and this cost increases for each law school to which you apply. Additional fees include things like test date changes, test center changes, and handscoring of your exam.
