Confirm Your Applications Are Received Typically, law schools follow up with an email confirmation.

Most (but not all) law schools will send an e-mail with a link to an online status checker. This allows you to monitor the progress of your application as it moves from ?complete? to ?in review,? and finally, when a decision has been made.

Each law school combines your cumulative GPA with your LSAT score to come up with an index score. This index score is the most important admissions factor, and it is used to benchmark you initially against other applicants.

Most law schools will start sending out decisions around 2 months after an application is submitted, but this time may be shorter or longer depending on the school, and the time of year you submitted the application.

If you haven't applied to the law school yet, you can introduce yourself to the admissions office via email or phone. This correspondence could be used to set up a meeting with someone in admissions or request a tour of the law school, if they offer it.

The personal statement, resumA©, additional essays and addenda must all be written in a word processor and then uploaded by you to each application via your LSAC.org account. Transcripts are requested by you from every undergraduate and graduate institution you have attended.

Your LSAT scores will automatically become a part of your report after you take them (you need at least one score on file before the CAS can start sending your reports).
