Autofill one or more cells with content from adjacent cells: Select the cells with the content you want to copy, then move the pointer over a border of the selection until a yellow autofill handle (a dot) appears. Drag the handle over the cells where you want to add the content.

Select the cells you want to format. In the Format sidebar, click the Cell tab. Click the Data Format pop-up menu, then choose Create Custom Format. Type a name for your format, then click the Type pop-up menu and choose Text.

There are two ways to change the content of a cell using the keyboard: Navigate to the desired cell with the arrow keys and then simply start typing. The previous content of the cell (if there was any) will be replaced. Navigate to the desired cell with the arrow keys and the press ALT + Return .

Edit content: Double-click a cell to make the insertion point appear, then type. To move the insertion point, click where you want it, then type. Replace content: Click the cell, then start typing. The existing content is overwritten.

Click the cell that contains the data that you want to edit, and then press F2.

To change a font everywhere it occurs in your spreadsheet, you can replace it with another font. Choose Format > Font > Replace Fonts (from the Format menu at the top of the screen). Click the double arrows to the right of the font you want to replace, then choose a replacement.
