Manuscript Hide Comments For Free

With the document open go to the Review tab, then click the Protect Document button (or go to Tools> Protect Document). The check box for Remove personal information from this file on save is at the very bottom.

Choose Options from the Tools menu. Word displays the Options dialog box. Make sure the Security tab is displayed. Select the Remove Personal Information From This File On Save check box. Click on OK.

1. In an opened Word document, click File > Options. In the Word Options window, make sure you are locating in the General tab, change the name in the User name box as below screenshot shown, and finally click the OK button. Now you have changed the default user name for comments in Word document.

If you just want to hide comments while printing, just uncheck the Comments in Show Markup drop-down. Click Review > Show Markup > Comments to hide comments. Now you can print your document without comments.

Click Inspect. Use the controls in the dialog box to get rid of any identifying information. Click the Close button when done.
