Manuscript Hide Mark For Free

Word 2016. Turn off Track Changes to stop adding more changes to a document. You can hide existing tracked changes temporarily by choosing No Markup in the Display for Review box. That helps you see what the document will look like when it's final, but changes will show up again the next time anyone opens it.

Revise the document, and save it by going to File and clicking on Save. Print out a copy of the revised document showing the tracked changes. Hide the tracked changes by going to View and clicking on Markup. Print a "clean" copy of the document.

Turn the display of formatting marks on or offGo to File > Help > Options > Display.Under Always show these formatting marks on the screen, select the check box for each formatting mark that you always want to display regardless if the Show/Hide. button is turned on or off.

Remove a watermark by clicking the header areaDouble-click near the top of the page to open the header area.Put your cursor over the watermark until you see a 4-way arrow.Select the watermark.Press the Delete key on your keyboard.Repeat as necessary to remove all watermarks.

Click the Review tab, click Show Markup, and uncheck the Comments option to hide comments.

This could happen in a networked environmentperhaps two people have copies of the document and are essentially working on them at the same time.When done (with unresolved changes), the document is copied to the network drive, overwriting the "more done" copy that was stored there before.
