The Avenza Maps app is a geospatial PDF, GeoPDF®and GeoTIFF reader for your Apple iOS, Android, and Windows smartphones and tablets. Many maps are available in the Avenza Map Store. Easily search for and interact with spatially referenced maps to view your location, record GPS tracks, add placemarks, and find places.

A GeoPDF is a georeferenced PDF file, meaning that it is a Portable Document Format (PDF) file with added information that relates the image to coordinates on a map.

Press on "Map Fields" button and the mapping window will open. In this window you will need to place your online fields on top of your PDF form image, thus creating a mapping. When the PDF mapping window opens, the editor is by default in Basic mode.

Choose Tools > Measure > Geospatial Location Tool, and then right-click the location on the map and choose Mark Location. Open the location annotation and copy the location information. Acrobat copies the data in this format: latitude then longitude, separated by a space.

Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader versions 9 and later allow viewing of map coordinates and georeference information encoded inside the PDF file. Exporting a map with the Export Map Georeference Information option enabled will record each data frame's georeference information inside the PDF.

In Adobe Acrobat Pro: On the right-hand side, navigate to Tools>Analyze. The Geospatial Tools are listed here. If your map is NOT georeferenced, when you select the Measuring Tool, units will be in inches. If you select the Geospatial Location Tool, nothing will populate in the fields.
