Word's mail-merge feature is most often used to create what used to be called "form letters" or to create labels from a list of individual pieces of data.You can use mail merge to easily complete standard documents that have well-defined items that must be changed each time the document is composed.

The mail merge process involves taking information from one document, known as the data source, combining with another document known as the main document.The Main Document can be a Form Letter, Labels, Email, or Directory.

Use mouse to drag and drop forms into the order by which these forms will be merged....Click Select Forms.In the popup dialog, you will see all your Forms located in your Google Drive.You may multiple select the Forms to be combined, using CTRL key or Shift key.When you finish, click Select to close the dialog.10 Jul 2019

Add individual merge fieldsClick or tap where you want the merge field.Choose the down-arrow under Insert Merge Field, and select a field.If you don't see your field name in the list, choose Insert Merge Field.Choose Database Fields to see the list of fields that are in your data source.Choose Insert.

To do this, follow these steps:Click Edit individual letters.In the Merge to New Document dialog box, select the records that you want to merge.Click OK.Scroll to the information that you want to edit, and then make your changes.Print or save the document just as you would any regular document.

If you enable form merging for a form template, your users can consolidate data from many different forms that are based on that form template into one new form. This is useful when your users want to compare or summarize data from several forms.
