Working Hours for Minors in Ohio Minors under the age of 16 in Ohio, during school days, can work anytime between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m., for no more than 3 hours. While school is in session, they cannot work more than 18 hours in a week, and no more than 8 hours on a non-school day.
