Notification categories allow your users to manage notification settings for each category that you have defined for your app, e.g., ?promotions? or ?breaking news?. Categories represent the Android notification channels that you implement in your app.

Grouped notifications must have an extra notification that acts as the group summary. To enable grouped notifications, you must set a group summary. This group summary must include some of the text from each of the other notifications in the group to help the user understand what is in the group.

To change the order in which app alerts are displayed, go back to the main Notifications settings screen, tap Sort by Time, then tap the Edit button in the top corner of the display. See those little handles next to the name of each ?Included? app? Tap, hold and drag to rearrange them.

You can go into "Settings"-> "Notifications". Scroll all the way down until you see "Looking for Something Else" and click on "Notification Reminder".

You may get extra chat notifications if you have multiple apps like Gmail and Google Chat on your mobile device. To avoid duplicate notifications, you can turn off notifications for the Chat app. Important: Settings can vary by manufacturer. For more info, contact your device manufacturer.

Multiple Notifications Handling Set the unique id to let Notification Manager knows this is a another notification instead of same notification. If you use the same unique Id for each notification, the Notification Manager will assume that is same notification and would replace the previous notification.
