If the landlord gives a tenant notice to end the tenancy and the tenant does not move out, the landlord can apply to the LTB for an order evicting the tenant. The tenant has the right to go to a hearing and explain why they should not be evicted or ask for more time to move out.

Landlords are required to give their tenant at least 60 days written notice to the end of the term or rent period using the Landlord and Tenant Board Form N12.

You must provide the landlord with your notice no later than 30 days after the landlord gives you the standard lease. In either case, you must provide the landlord with a written notice to terminate the tenancy at least 60 days before the last day of a rental period.

To evict a tenant for virtually any reason other than non-payment of rent, the landlord must give at least one months' notice. Unlike with non-payment, however, the landlord must give their tenant reasonable time to correct any issues (assuming it's possible to correct them).
