For extra protection, you can wrap individual records in a thin layer of paper or bubble wrap, or fill the boxes and the gaps between records with thick cardboard, foam, packing paper or bubble wrap ? just always keep them upright and don't stack your records on top of each other.

If you're sending a vinyl disc without an original sleeve or jacket, use a plain plastic sleeve (or bubble wrap with tape) and two cardboard inserts to sandwich and protect it.

How Do You Safely Pack Vinyl Records? Remove vinyl from its jacket. Carefully dust using a cleaning machine or your normal vinyl brush. Put the records into protective plastic sleeves. Place the sleeves in new cardboard record mailers. Insert package stiffeners or fillers, including bubble wrap and cardboard.

Fold the bubble wrap over the records and secure with tape. Cut four pieces of cardboard approximately 4" x 6" (10cm x 15 cm). Fold them twice and tape the ends together to make four sturdy corner protections. Place the bubble-wrapped records into the record mailer and insert the four protective corners.
