Figure captions are generally placed below the figures, while table captions must be placed above the tables.

The image title attribute has a value for search engine optimization to describe the purpose of the image and expand the definitive words in the image alt tag for a better image description. Image titles and the image alt tags are complementary image attributes to describe the image.

This is an example of a very traditional photo credit line: Author, Title of the photograph, Title of the series (if applicable), Date of creation, License type, via X (X=website, collection, platform, etc.) While this is a very complete photo credit line, it's not always necessary to include all this information.

A note acknowledging the source of a published photograph. type of: acknowledgment, citation, cite, credit, mention, quotation, reference.

Include information in the following order: author (if available) year produced (if available) title of image (or a description) Format and any details (if applicable) name and place of the sponsor of the source. accessed day month year (the date you viewed/ downloaded the image)

If you're using it in a blog post or on your website, put the name of the creator and a link to their website or the source of the image beneath it. The format should be something like this: ?Photo by [artist name with their website hyperlinked]? or ?Image by [artist name] via [website hyperlinked].?

Image title is basically the name of your image. Like alt text, it lets users and search engines know what's in the picture. Unlike alt text, the image title is not displayed when the image is missing or not loaded properly. Instead, it is displayed when the user hovers their mouse over the image.
