You can print Permit either by entering the application number or Registration Number or Permit number. Then click on PRINT button to print the Permit. The Alert box will be shown for printing confirmation. Click on Confirm Print button for Permit printing.

To obtain National Permit, the owner of the vehicle must make an application to the concerned State Regional Transport Authority. In many States, there is a restriction placed on the age of the vehicle for which National Permit is sought. National Permit can be obtained only for vehicles less than 12 years old.

The fee under the new rules has been kept at ?20,000 per annum for all India permit for vehicles with a capacity of up to five tourists. This goes upto ?3 lakh per annum for permit for vehicles with a capacity of 23 persons or more. A quarterly permit fee payment mechanism has also been kept under the new draft rules.
