To add multi-currency in the invoice, you'll need first to turn on this feature from the Account and Settings page.Go to the Currency section. Turn on the Multicurrency. Note: Once multicurrency is turned on, the home currency is set and cannot be changed in QuickBooks Online.

When you receive a foreign currency invoice you'll have to choose a provider through which to pay it, such as a bank or international money transfer company. The provider you choose will depend on the amount of money you have to pay, whether this is a regular invoice, and the currency you need to pay in.

You can't put different items on the same invoice if you want to charge your client for them in different currencies. Each invoice can only be in one currency.
