The footer in WordPress is the bottom part of your website that appears after the main content area. It's generally on every page of your WordPress website. Many beginners overlook this area, but there are several ways you can make it more helpful for your visitors.

Php file. Make sure you're logged in to the WordPress Admin dashboard. In the left-hand menu, go to Appearance -> Editor. Click on Editor. In the list of theme files on the right side, search for the file named Theme Footer (footer. php). Click on it. The coding lines will display as follows:

If you see Widgets here, you can edit your site's footer by following these steps: Visit your site's dashboard. Navigate to Appearance ? Widgets. Scroll down to the Footer widget area. Depending on your theme, you may see multiple footer widget areas, as shown here:

Sign in to your WordPress dashboard. Go to Appearance ? Customize. In the website customization menu, click on Footer. You can edit the footer by using widgets to add new sections or by editing the content and style of the footer bar.

In your site's dashboard, go to Appearance ? Editor. You can edit the header from multiple locations: Site, Templates, or Template Parts. It all depends if you want to make changes on all pages or only on specific ones. For example, you can click on the Site section in the Site Editor.

Option 1: from appearance Go to your WordPress dashboard. Go to Appearance on your left sidebar and click on Customize. Go to Site Identity, change or edit your title. Click Publish.
