Report Footer Record For Free

Footers are located in the margin area at the bottom of a page. Headers and footers generally contain document information, such as the file name, author, date created, page numbering and the like. This information is repeated on each page and thus enables the reader to easily navigate the document.

Access displays the report in Layout view. Format the report to achieve the looks that you want: Resize fields and labels by selecting them and then dragging the edges until they are the size you want. Move a field by selecting it (and its label, if present), and then dragging it to the new location.

Display the form in Design view. Right-click on the design surface and select Form Header/Footer from the shortcut menu. The header and footer sections are added to the design surface.

On the status bar, click the Page Layout View button. Select the header or footer text you want to change. On the Home tab in the Font group, set the formatting options that you want to apply to the header / footer. When you're done, click the Normal view button on the status bar.

The footer can be used to print the report title, page number (see below), date (see below) or anything else you want. Here is an example the prints the page number at the bottom of the page, along with a divider line.

In typography and word processing, the page footer (or simply footer) of a printed page is a section located under the main text, or body. It is typically used as the space for the page number.

A report footer consists of report items that are placed at the bottom of the report body. They appear only once as the last content in the report.

To add page header and footer sections or report header and footer sections to your report, right-click any section selector and then click Page Header/Footer or Report Header/Footer on the shortcut menu.
