Revisions are set to O in case of a re-issue of the document. Following the issue-number, and separated by a point, a number indicates the revision (example: Issue: 1.1). For the re-issue of a document the Issue number will be changed. Issue numbers are indicated by numerical characters.

The revision number is the number of times the document has been saved. That means it should correspond to the Date Modified field in the file manager, sometimes called Date Last Saved.

Construction with revision numbers C1, C2, etc. These drawings are the final agreed set that the project will be built from. They should be fully co-ordinated with all the other trades working on site to ensure the minimum amount of changes are required on site during the build process.

Revision numbers are names that uniquely identify file and item versions. Any version of a file or item (created when checking in a modified file or item) can be assigned a revision number, either automatically during a workflow transition or manually by a user with sufficient rights.

Usually, a revision number is followed by a subrevision number, separated by a period, for example: revision 1.5, revision 1.6, and so on. New configuration releases start from revision 1.0. 2. All versions of a subrevision (including alpha, beta, prerelease, and release versions) are numbered in the same manner.

Edit an Existing Numbering Sequence In the project, click View tab Sheet Composition panel (Sheet Issues/Revisions). In the Sheet Issues/Revisions dialog, under Customize Numbering, click Numbering. Select an existing numbering sequence from the list. In the numbering dialog, click (Edit).
