Set Out Line Notice For Free

When you turn in your notice on a Friday you can let the dust settle over the weekend. This will give your bosses and colleagues time to think through their reactions and when you come in on Monday, you can all be prepared with your ideas for a transition plan without being so emotionally fueled.

Hi [Manager's Name], I wanted to let you know that I have decided to resign from my position as [Your Job Title] at [Company Name]. My last day of work will be [Date - Two Weeks from Today]. I appreciate the opportunity to have worked with you and the rest of the team here at [Company Name].

Please accept this letter as formal notification of my resignation from (company name). My last day with the company will be (date). Before I leave, I will ensure that all my projects are completed as far as possible. I am happy to assist in any way to ensure a smooth handover to my replacement.
