Set Out Name Release For Free

Add a Helm chart repository Login to the MSR web UI. Click Repositories in the navigation menu. Click New repository. In the name field, enter the name for the new repository and click Create.

A manifest is a YAML-encoded representation of the Kubernetes resources that were generated from this release's chart(s). If a chart is dependent on other charts, those resources will also be included in the manifest. helm get manifest RELEASE_NAME [flags]

ReleaseName is the name you assigned to this installation instance. Chart is the name and location of the chart: oc-cn-helm-chart for BRM cloud native services, oc-cn-ece-helm-chart for ECE cloud native services, or oc-cn-init-db-helm-chart for initializing the BRM database schema.

A helm release is an abstraction of helm that lets you keep track of the resources you've installed via the chart where as a Kubernetes Deployment is a Kubernetes resource type.

Charts are installed and uninstalled into Kubernetes clusters. Like the image-to-container relationship, a running instance of a Chart is called a Release. In the end, a Helm Chart is an executed template converting Chart definitions to Kubernetes manifests.
