If ErrorLogSize is not specified, the default value of 33554432 bytes (32 MB) is used. You can use this attribute to reduce the maximum size back to the previous maximum of 2 MB, if required. You can set the size of the log using the MQMAXERRORLOGSIZE environment variable.

The standard message format consists of the date and time, the severity, the category, an optional object type and name, and the message text, which must be a single line.
