1. Use an Alt key combination Launch Notepad, as shown in Figure 1, below. Figure 1: Place your insertion point in Notepad. Write the text, select the part you want to strike out, choose the BIU ( Bold/italic/underline) option and you will get the option to strikeout.

Android and iOS Start by highlighting the text you want to cross out, or ?strikethrough.? Press the Format button in the top toolbar, which looks like a capital 'A' with four horizontal lines on the right. Finally, press the Strikethrough button in the menu that appears from the bottom.

There's no way to do strikethrough in notepad++. What I do to mark a task as finished is putting an x before and after the word, it sounds simple but it visually works for me. Example: bread.

On a PC, use the following shortcut to strike through text: Select the text you want to strike through. Press Ctrl+D. A font dialog box will appear. Press Alt+K. The strikethrough feature should now be selected. Press OK. The text will now have a line through it.

Strikethrough is a font effect that creates a horizontal line straight through the center of a word or phrase in your document. The strikethrough line doesn't hide the content underneath it, so the reader can still see the words you're striking through.

This is useful for a list of work and divide it in done and undone work lists. There's no way to do strikethrough in notepad++.
