Recording Pennsylvania Deeds A deed must be filed with the recorder of deeds for the county where the property is located. Pennsylvania law requires deeds to be recorded within 90 days after the deed is signed if it is signed in Pennsylvania or within six months if it is signed outside Pennsylvania.
