Tap the notification about your tag. The notification will say something like ?<facebook user> mentioned you in a comment.? The contents of the post will appear when you tap the notification. If there are a lot of comments, you may have to scroll down to see where you were tagged.

Once you are on the person's profile, scroll down to the ?Likes and Comments? section. This section is located below the ?About? section and contains a list of all the pages and posts that the person has liked or commented on.

Turn on Timeline Review to see posts you're tagged in When a friend tags you in a post on Facebook, it automatically appears on your profile. If you want to review all posts (including friends' posts) before they appear on your profile, you need to turn on Timeline Review.

The comment may have been hidden. If someone hides a comment that mentions you, you will still get a notification about it, but the comment will not be visible to you unless you specifically go to the post and click on the "See hidden comments" link.

Facebook Mention ? A mention is when you write a Facebook post or respond with a comment and include somebody's name in the body of the text. Their name becomes a hyperlink direct to their profile or page, and they receive a notification. Facebook Tag ? A tag is slightly different to a mention.

Type "mentioned you in a comment" in the search field. This will highlight all comment tag notifications that contain this phrase on your notifications page.

Restart Facebook App Restarting the Facebook application often resolves the issue because the native app can become stuck, and swiping down to restore the app refreshes it. As a result, it restores the Facebook comments, which will now be visible.

It's in the person's cover photo, which is at the top of their profile. A menu will expand. Click See Friendship on the menu. This opens the See Friendship page, which displays a list of posts and comments from both users' pages that the other has commented on.
