Most colleges allow you to order copies of transcripts online, by mail, or in person via the office of admissions or registrar's office. You'll complete a transcript request form, pay a small fee, and may have to provide proof of identification.

To request an unofficial copy of your transcript, send an email to registrar@SBUniv.edu. Include your full name, SBU ID number, date of birth, last four digits of your social security number, and where you want the unofficial transcript emailed.

Report cards provide feedback on a student's periodic grades, often with comments, while a transcript is the official record summarizing that student's academic performance (and will go out to colleges).

You can request official transcripts using Solar or by contacting the Registrar's Office. The Registrar can mail printed transcripts to a physical address or can electronically send eTranscripts to your application service. If the school is closed, we suggest contacting the local school district or the County Office of Education for assistance.
