No. There is no age that is too old to start powerlifting. Everyone can adapt to a training stimulus, regardless of age. Powerlifting isn't much different from regular training; you still lift a barbell up and down for repetitions.

?Beginners should bench and squat two, maybe three, times a week and deadlift around one time a week. Every week, adding a little more weight, while trying to get better and more efficient.? ?For the first three to six months, you should be able to add some kind of weight almost every week.?

But not after three days. This is in line with common practice among powerlifters who often ease up on their deadlift training first (~7 days out), then their squat training (~5 days out), and lastly their bench press training (~3 days out).

REGISTRATION: You will check in with the registration table, present your Photo ID and your USA Powerlifting Card. You will then get a Lifter Card, you will take this card with you to weigh-ins. (Note, you can't weigh in until you have this card, therefore registration begins 30 minutes prior to weigh-ins).
